How To Make Yogurt Popsicles

Nothing is more fun and refreshing on a hot day than a popsicle. Learning how to make yogurt popsicles is so much fun and they taste so much better than any store-bought variety.

Make Your Own Yogurt Popsicles

Why not make your own super nutritious high protein popsicles with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit.

You will need vanilla or honey flavored Chobani Greek Yogurt, some fresh fruit, one small appliance to purée the fruit, and one or two popsicle molds.

Although this yogurt popsicle recipe is extremely easy to make, it is also incredibly healthy and can be enjoyed any time of day or night, for breakfast, lunch, supper, or as a snack.

Some of my favorite recipes are shown below with pictures and directions. Feel free to use any or all of these recipes yourself or discover your own favorite fruit and Greek yogurt combination popsicle.

One of the all-time favorite popsicle flavors is blueberry. This easy to make popsicle recipe is shown below.

1. Blueberry Yogurt Popsicles

Blueberry Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chobani Greek Yogurt (vanilla or honey flavor)
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Directions

Step #1: In a blender or mixer, purée the fresh blueberries. Test the tartness of the blueberries by eating a small sample of the purée. If it is too tart, simply drizzle a little bit of honey onto the blueberry purée and blend together with a spoon or fork.

Step #2: Put the Chobani Greek Yogurt into a bowl.

Step #3: Gently fold the puréed blueberries into the yogurt. Do not completely blend these two ingredients, but instead allow patches of yogurt and patches of the blue colored blueberries to be easily visible.

Step #4: Gently pour the yogurt and blueberry mixture into popsicle molds and put into the freezer.

Step #5: Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least eight hours to become completely frozen.

Why use blueberries?

2. Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chobani Greek Yogurt (vanilla or honey flavor)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (thinly sliced)

Directions

Step #1: In a blender or mixer, purée the fresh strawberries. Test the tartness of the strawberries by eating a small sample of the purée. If it is too tart, simply drizzle a little bit of honey onto the strawberry purée and blend together with a spoon or fork.

Step #2: Put the Chobani Greek Yogurt into a bowl.

Step #3: Gently fold the puréed strawberries into the yogurt. Do not completely blend these two ingredients, but instead allow patches of yogurt and patches of the red colored strawberries to be easily visible.

Step #4: Gently pour the yogurt and strawberry mixture into popsicle molds and put into the freezer.

Step #5: Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least eight hours to become completely frozen.

3. Mango Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chobani Greek Yogurt (vanilla or honey flavor)
  • 2 large fresh mangoes (diced)

Directions

Step #1: In a blender or mixer, purée the fresh mangoes. Test the tartness of the mangoes by eating a small sample of the mango purée. If it is too tart, simply drizzle a little bit of honey onto the mango purée and blend together with a spoon or fork.

Step #2: Put the Chobani Greek Yogurt into a bowl.

Step #3: Gently fold the puréed mangoes into the yogurt. Do not completely blend these two ingredients, but instead allow patches of yogurt and patches of the orange colored mangoes to be easily visible.

Step #4: Gently pour the yogurt and mango mixture into popsicle molds and put into the freezer.

Step #5: Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least eight hours to become completely frozen.

  • 6 fresh kiwis (peeled and sliced)

Directions

Step #1: In a blender or mixer, purée the fresh kiwis. Test the tartness of the kiwis by eating a small sample of the kiwi purée. If it is too tart, simply drizzle a little bit of honey onto the kiwi purée and blend together with a spoon or fork.

Step #2: Put the Chobani Greek Yogurt into a bowl.

Step #3: Gently fold the puréed kiwis into the yogurt. Do not completely blend these two ingredients, but instead allow patches of yogurt and patches of the green colored kiwis to be easily visible.

Step #4: Gently pour the yogurt and kiwi mixture into popsicle molds and put into the freezer.

Step #5: Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least eight hours to become completely frozen.

Step #1: In a blender or mixer, purée the fresh cherries. Test the tartness of the cherries by eating a small sample of the purée. If it is too tart, simply drizzle a little bit of honey onto the cherry purée and blend together with a spoon or fork.

Step #2: Put the Chobani Greek Yogurt into a bowl.

Step #3: Gently fold the puréed cherries into the yogurt. Do not completely blend these two ingredients, but instead allow patches of yogurt and patches of the red colored cherries to be easily visible.

Step #1: In a blender or mixer, purée the fresh pineapple. Test the tartness of the pineapple by eating a small sample of the purée. If it is too tart, simply drizzle a little bit of honey onto the pineapple purée and blend together with a spoon or fork.

Step #2: Put the Chobani Greek Yogurt into a bowl.

Step #3: Gently fold the puréed pineapple into the yogurt. Do not completely blend these two ingredients, but instead allow patches of yogurt and patches of the yellow colored pineapple to be easily visible.

Step #4: Gently pour the yogurt and pineapple mixture into popsicle molds and put into the freezer.

Step #5: Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least eight hours to become completely frozen.

Step #1: In a blender or mixer, purée the fresh peaches. Test the tartness of the peaches by eating a small sample of the purée. If it is too tart, simply drizzle a little bit of honey onto the peach purée and blend together with a spoon or fork.

Step #2: Put the Chobani Greek Yogurt into a bowl.

Step #3: Gently fold the puréed peaches into the yogurt. Do not completely blend these two ingredients, but instead allow patches of yogurt and patches of the orange colored peaches to be easily visible.

Step #4: Gently pour the yogurt and peach mixture into popsicle molds and put into the freezer.

Step #5: Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least eight hours to become completely frozen.

Why use peaches?

  • Peaches contain beta carotene which helps keep eyes healthy.
  • Peaches contain large amounts of vitamin C which is a primary ingredient for healthy skin care.
  • Peaches are high in fiber and potassium which helps to cleanse the body of toxins.
  • Peaches are a rich source of vitamins and minerals with very low calories and no fat.
